I have been interested in photography since I got my first Brownie camera in the early 1950s. I also enjoy the outdoors and have spent a lifetime camping and hiking. The desert of the southwest has been particularly special to me. There are so many shapes, colors and contrasts in an atmosphere of primitive ruggedness that captivates our attention.
